About
I’m currently a GNC Engineer. Outside of work I dabble in various tech-adjacent spaces for fun, but have mostly non-tech interests. Most of the time I will find some way to use relevant technical skills to vastly overcomplicate (or enjoy) those non-technical hobbies. In these cases I may be interested enough to write about it here.
Previously for work I’ve done a few different internships/casual jobs:
- BalenaOS (Yocto-based) linux development for a dev board at a mining tech company
- Yocto & U-Boot firmware work on another dev board at a computer networking company
- Data analysis and simple web dev at a utility company
I’ve also done a few degrees, all at QUT. Most recently I completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree with the QUT Centre for Robotics - see my alumni page for a little more info. This work covered consensus control, a very specific type of applied math that I may or may not post about here. Before this I did a dual degree in Engineering (Aerospace & Electrical) and IT (Computer Science).
